PMWL 2020 League Play Phase Explanation and Super Weekend! PUBG Mobile World League 2020 East Season 0 or known as PMWL 2020 East has been running since 11 July 2020. And recently we passed PMWL 2020 Week 1 where the best teams in the world, fought to collect points so they could enter the PMWL 2020 Grand Finals.

For those who don’t know, PMWL 2020 is divided into 2 divisions, East and West or East and West. 2 Indonesian teams, BTR RA and Morph Team will fight in PMWL 2020 East along with teams from India, Philippines, Malaysia, Vietnam, Mongolia, South Korea and Japan. The Western division will be played by teams from Europe, and North and South America. The Prize Pool or Prize Pool which costs USD $ 850,000 will be halved for each division.

Phase 1: Opening Weekend

You could say the PMWL 2020 Opening Weekend is like a warm-up for all the teams joining this global tournament. Teams play for 2 days and depending on the final standings, they will be divided into 5 groups to play in the next phase of League Play Weekday. The division of the groups is as follows:

Phase 2: League Play

For this League Play Phase, it will last for 3 weeks. Every week the teams will play for 5 days. League Play will also be divided into 2 stages. Weekday stage or Day 1 and 2 will be played on the day Tuesday and Wednesday and the Super Weekend stage or Days 3,4 and 5 will be played on the day Friday, Saturday and Sunday.

• Stage 1: League Play Weekday
  • 2 days – play day Tuesday and Wednesday

• Stage 2: League Play Super Weekend
  • 3 days – play day Friday Saturday Sunday
  • The total will be there 15 matches played by 16 teams
• Only points that get on League Play Super Weekend this will be used for qualification PMWL 2020 Grand Finals.
• 16 teams best of points accumulated during 3 weeks at Super Weekend will go into PMWL 2020 Grand Finals

Every week, points for Stage 1 (League Play Weekday) will be on reset. So for 4 teams that are not included in Super Weekend Week 1, if they play well in League Play Weekday Week 2, they can enter for Super Weekend in Week 2.

Phase 3: Finals

• 16 teams from League Play will enter
• 4 days – 24 total matches will be played
