Blue Protocol Will Be Bandai Namco's New MMORPG Game for PC

MMORPG is a genre that costs more than AAA games out there. Apart from the massive manufacturing costs depending on the type of game they will make and the large amount of server financing, developers and publishers must sign contracts in each country representative area so that the game can be accessed. Maybe that’s why now the number is decreasing unlike a few years ago with many new titles. Final Fantasy XIV, World of Warcraft, The Elder Scrolls Online, and Guild Wars 2 are just a few of the many quality MMORPGs released out there. But that doesn’t mean it makes developers and publishers sluggish and doesn’t try to make it. One of them is Bandai Namco.

Bandai Namco Japan suddenly announced that they were working on a game called Blue Protocol. They describe this game as an “online action RPG” game that they developed for PC. While showing screenshots of their “work-in-progress” they also announced that the game will be developed by Bandai Namco Online and Bandai Namco Studios with a new team called Project Sky Blue.

Blue Protocol will be a new PC online game from Bandai Namco.

The game, which was made using Unreal Engine 4, has anime art with a color combination that not only gives a very thick fantasy feel, but also modernization thanks to the presence of lights such as LEDs on some of the equipment used by the characters.

Bandai Namco describes in its game logo that Blue Protocol will be set in a world that is about to face destruction. It will also likely give you the ability to travel in space and travel through time. A concept and theme that is quite similar to the project Tales of Arise theirs.

While Project Blue Sky itself is described as a team that will create a new IP (Intellectual Property) from Japan for the world and Blue Protocol is one of their biggest projects to date.
