Activision Doesn't Seem To Learn From Experience When It Finally Releases COD: MW Remastered on Steam

Early when Call of Duty finally announced a remastered project for one of its best games, namely Modern Warfare, the fans also welcomed it very well with very high interest in enjoying the story and multiplayer Modern Warfare with more updated graphics. However Activation made a fairly controversial decision by ‘forcing’ the players who wanted to have Modern Warfare Remastered to buy a bundle with their newest game, namely COD: Infinite Warfare. Negative response to Activision’s greed and demands that they release a version standalone from MW Remastered also surfaced in virtual world forums.

And it took Activision quite a long time until they finally wanted to release a separate version of MW Remastered. Even then, it was initially exclusive to the Playstation 4, until finally it was able to enter other platforms including PC. Surprisingly there was no fanfare whatsoever from activision, or even at least a trailer for the PC version didn’t appear at all. Because without any notification, this game was actually released 2 days ago on PC via Steam.

Released without any fanfare. MW Remastered just released on Steam

Then, with the release of a separate version of MW Remastered according to demand, will it be able to satisfy the fans? The answer turned out to be no. In just two days this game immediately got a rating Mostly Negative. It’s not surprising that the game that we’ve been waiting for, and is one of the best story FPS games that Activision has ever made, gets such bad reviews from its users. And it turns out that there are some points that make fans unhappy with this MW Remastered.

First, the price is very expensive. For a remastered game COD: MW Remastered is priced Rp 522.999 or you could say almost equivalent to the new release games. Second, Activision is asking players to pay back to get the Map Pack at a price of Rp. 121,940. Even though this map pack itself has been provided for free in the usual version with a total price of Rp. 124,756.

Her now red game page in just 2 days

This game is also now feature-injected skin and loot box like the last versions of COD, which turned out to be quite disliked by his old fans. The worst thing is that the game itself doesn’t perform optimally with many reviews showing that the game randomly limits its frame rate at 50 fps. Absence dedicated server for multiplayer which causes the game to be unstable. And the last is the number of hackers in multiplayer.

Even with all the negative reasons in this game. It seems that many gamers still buy this game, of course, for reasons of nostalgia for the original version that was released 10 years ago. Are you among those who are interested in buying this one game?
