After 18 Months of Release Fortnite is Finally Available on Google Play Store

It looks like Epic Games has finally given up on Google, because after almost 18 months after its release, its flagship Battle Royale genre game, Fortnite, can finally be downloaded via the Google PlayStore. The main reason for Epic Games itself to change its mind, is because Fortnite, which previously could only be downloaded via direct download via their website, turned out to be unsuccessful.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

They realize that if they release the game through direct download, Google has the right to block applications that are not downloaded via the Play Store, so that it does not provide benefits. They conveyed this through an interview with Polygon some time ago. Epic game said that after officially presenting the game on the Google Play Store, they hoped that Google would change their policies and way of doing business. As we know earlier, Epic Games criticized Google’s policy of taking 30% of the profits from each game on the Play Store as unfair and detrimental to developers.

Let’s just wait, will Epic Games’ decision to bring Fortnite, the Google Play Store be able to make this one game able to compete with similar games like PUBG Mobile and Free Fire? Let’s just wait.
