Apple Begins Tightening Game Release Policy on China's AppStore

The Chinese government has announced new regulations in the field of game publishing. Where developers, publishers and digital platform managers must issue ISBNs to the games they manage. Apple has begun to warn against using ISBNs for game developers on its platform to have an ISBN. If you don’t have an ISBN by June 30, the new game will not be able to be listed on the Chinese AppStore.

This policy applies strictly to new games on the App Store, but there has been no explanation about games that have previously been released by the App Store. It is still waiting for further announcements from Apple. It seems that this policy temporarily only applies to new paid games and includes purchases in them while hypercasual games that are free without in-game purchases are not included in this policy.
