Back 4 Blood Presents Familiar Gameplay from Dev Left 4 Dead

Back 4 Blood is real.

We all know that Valve never gave permission to make a third series of his games. This is probably done in order to maintain the quality of the series they have worked on. Therefore the fans never witnessed the birth Half-Life 3, Left 4 Dead 3, nor Portal 3. However, what if the developer himself makes a new iteration of one of Valve’s games that has never been thought of?

Was announced last year, Turtle Rock Studios today officially showed the gameplay of its newest game. Through the Game Awards, the developer, previously named Valve South, showcased a new coop survival gameplay called Back 4 Blood.

Still using the same formula, namely 4 player vs zombie horde, Back 4 Blood at first glance looks exactly the same as the two games they have ever made.

If you look at the trailer, it’s not clear yet whether the game will have an interesting story like Left 4 Dead, but what is clear is that they will present a campaign and co-op mode.

Turtle Rock Studios plans to release Back 4 Blood next 2021. Precisely on June 22, 2021 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. They also announced a closed alpha date starting on December 17, 2020.
