The company, founded in 2006 by Masaya Nakamura, is in the early stages of developing a new project that is predicted to be the most expensive project they have ever made.

That’s not all, what makes things even more interesting is the fact that the influential figure behind Tekken – Katsuhiro Harada, was appointed Head of Development. Via the Piro Live! New Year’s Eve Special 2021, Harada who currently serves as general manager, director and producer for Bandai Namco gave a little information about the project he is working on.
While he did not give specific details about the new game he was managing, Harada expressed his surprise when he learned that Bandai Namco had approved a project of such a large scale. Although there is no clearer information, Harada said that the game is not a fighting game despite the fact that he is good at concocting games with that genre.
Previously, Harada was a producer for the Pokemon fighting genre games Pokken Tournament and Pokken Tournament DX, which were released in 2015 and 2017, respectively. In addition, he was also the director for Tekken 7 which was released for arcades in 2015 and consoles in 2015. 2017.
