Steve Saylor, or often known as “Blind Gamer” is a blind person who is also a consultant and media editor on the accessibility of a game. He was amazed and moved when he played the latest game from Naughty Dog – The Last of Us Part 2. For him, this narrative-focused action game offers the accessibility that he and the gamer community with other physical limitations have hoped for.
I’ve been reluctant to post this.
I recorded my reaction when I saw the #accessibility settings in #TheLastofUsPartII for the first time thinking it would be a fun video for posterity. I…did not expect this.

“All of you won’t know, you all don’t know how much it means [semua ini]. I don’t even know what to say. There are so many things in [game] this. This is what the people in the accessibility community and I have been hoping for, for so long.” Steve said while crying in amazement at the game’s audio.
You can see more of Steve Saylor’s impressions in the following video where he mentions The Last of Us Part 2 as the game with the most complete and best accessibility at the moment.

UI Scripter from Naughty Dog gave his response to Steve’s video, explaining that he was touched by his reaction and he was proud to have created an accessibility feature that helps many gamers with disabilities. For him, diversity is the key to the gaming community, video games must be accessible to anyone without any limitations or obstacles.
I’m crying Steve. Thank you so much for sharing this video. It was great meeting you at the studio, and I am so greatdul and proud to be on this team. We all dedicated the countless hours to this field right here. No barriers. No cutting corners. So everyone can play??
