Capcom's social media post hints at Resident Evil 3 Remake?

Capcom can be said to be in a very comfortable position in recent years with their releases that are practically always successful. Although their latest concept game – Project Resistance has received mixed reactions with the majority not liking it much, Capcom actually still has some of their old success recipes for their next release. One of them, of course, released the “Remake” version of their old games by injecting the latest technology and gameplay that even succeeded in bringing Resident Evil 2 Remake to the GOTY Golden Joystick Award this year.

Talking about the Resident Evil game remake, fans certainly have a hidden desire for Capcom to bring back one of their best and iconic series to the present, namely Resident Evil 3. This RE 3 remake has actually been rumored since last year, but after that there was no information about this game. Maybe until now, when finally Capcom indirectly seemed to provide a “teaser” for their Resident Evil 3 game.

Is a post on Resident Evil’s Facebook social media that posts photos of characters from the Resident Evil universe to announce the ongoing Steam Autumn Sale. But strangely, in the picture there are several characters who don’t even have games that are on Steam or on sale.

And if you’ve memorized it, of course you realize that the iconic monster – Nemesis, and also the female protagonist in a blue shirt, the favorite of Resident Evil fans – Jill Valentine who is considered by fans to be the new model for the remake version.

Of course, this assumption is normal considering that in yesterday’s RE 2 Remake, both Leon and Claire also experienced a change in the model to be more fresh and modern, especially on the side of the face. And in this poster, Jill uses her signature costume from the 3rd series, even though the color of the clothes now looks more dark gray than the bright blue like the original.

And like Leon and Claire, Jill’s face also uses a new face model that is different from before. Is this what Jill will look like for the next game? Or is this just concept art mere? Hopefully Capcom has a nice surprise at the upcoming The Game Awards.
