Doritos' Latest Promotion Accidentally Confirms New Call of Duty Title and Release Date
The E3 event was not held this year because of Covid19, finally, many publishers had to make their announcement events independently. Call it Sony through the Future of Gaming Show, Ubisoft with its Ubisoft Forward, EA with EA Play and others. But it’s a little different for Activision-Blizzard who announced the games one by one.

We already know that Activision will have a Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1+2 and Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time. But of course it would not be complete if Activision did not announce their latest Call of Duty series. Moreover, rumors about the existence of this game have been around for some time indicating that this latest Call of Duty will take place in the cold war era and will also be set in Vietnam.

And the surprise came when the Twitter account TheGamingRevolution claimed to have sent a DM by one of his followers showing two photos of Dorito’s package which also contained promotions. Double XP for Call of Duty Black Ops Cold War. Yes, in the photo you can clearly see the new logo that has not even been announced by Activision at all. The photo also finally confirms the rumor that the title taken is “Cold War” which has been circulating some time ago.
In addition to the other photo which contains the procedure for redeeming the promo code as well as several lines of information writing in which there is also information about when the promo is valid, namely from the date of October 5, 2020 until January 31, 2021. And October 5 is the alleged release date of COD: Cold War.
Although there is a little debate that the game’s release date will be at the end of the month, namely October 25. But from all the information there seems to be something in common that this game is expected to be released sometime in October.
Unfortunately, Activision has not confirmed about this Call of Duty Cold War leak. But it looks like we might get an official announcement about this game soon.
