Facebook Acquires Developer The Order: 1886
Will there not be a sequel to The Order in the future?
Of the many early PlayStation 4 games, The Order: 1886 is one of the exclusive games that pushes the visual power of the console made by Sony. That high-quality visual display was not a problem for him. Unfortunately, games with a werewolf theme in a fictional world during the kingdom’s era, had an unfinished story in its initial release. Makes many fans ask about the sequel to the game in the future.

The thing that makes it interesting is that, before the developers had time to announce the sequel, which was planned or not, they had been acquired by another company first.
Today, Facebook, the owner of Oculus, announced that it has acquired a developer The Order: 1886, Ready At Dawn. They claim that Ready At Dawn has made four games for Oculus since 2017. Some of them are Lone Echo, Echo Arena, Echo Combat, and Lone Echo II which is still under development.
In other words, Ready At Dawn will focus on developing VR games in the future. Especially with the help of Facebook and Oculus which makes them more free to develop their games.
Currently Ready At Dawn is being developed Lone Echo II. Facebook admits they will not announce any projects other than the game, which is unclear whether it will be released for Oculus Quest or Rift.
After the acquisition, Facebook also confirmed that all teams from Ready At Dawn will join the Oculus Studios team.
Lone Echo II currently being developed by Ready At Dawn. Unfortunately, it’s not clear whether they will launch it for the Oculus Rift or Oculus Quest in the future.
