This project is the first collaboration between Lucasfilm Games, Disney and Bethesda. Lucasfilm Games itself was just announced a few days ago to host all the games from Lucasfilm properties such as Star Wars and Indiana Jones. This game will also be developed by MachineGames, which is known as the developer of the Wolfenstein series. In addition, the originator of the Fallout and The Elder Scrolls series, Todd Howard is reported to be involved in the development of the game as executive producer.
At this time, Bethesda has not provided any information regarding the genre that will be addressed. It can be speculated that this game will probably have a genre First-Person Shooter or FPS. Considering other Bethesda games such as Wolfenstein, Doom and Dishonored used to adhere to this genre. However, it is possible that the Indiana Jones game will embrace the genre third person like the Uncharted series, considering Indiana Jones itself is the inspiration for the Uncharted series.
In addition, Bethesda has also not announced which platforms will be targeted. However, it is possible that this Indiana Jones adaptation will be released for PC, Playstation 5 and Xbox Series X/S platforms, maybe even for Playstation 4 and Xbox One.
