Reporting from sales tracking site VGChartz, Nintendo Switch is rumored to have surpassed the Nintendo 3DS in total sales figures since its initial release. VGChartz says that Nintendo Switch has now managed to sell more than 76 Million units. Where this figure managed to surpass the sales figures of the Nintendo 3DS console which sold 75,906,986 units.
Even so, this has not been officially announced by Nintendo and is only an estimate from the VGChartz website. But of course, this is not a news that is so surprising after seeing the success of the Nintendo Switch which continues to climb from 2020 to the present.
Previously, Nintendo’s console has also surpassed the sales figures of other consoles in the past year and it is very likely that the Nintendo Switch can still continue to achieve success in sales figures in the future.
Currently, Nintendo Switch is in position 11 game console with the highest sales figures of all time. The Switch has the potential to make it into the top 10 by displacing the PlayStation Portable console, which has now sold 80 million units.
