NSFW Artist Removes Bowser's "Naughty" Fanart After Complaints from Parties Claiming to be Nintendo
Nintendo is known to be aggressive with their IP protection. Many fan projects had to be canceled because the company decided to launch their DMCA. However, that hasn’t stopped fans from creating their own creations that are inspired by Nintendo game characters, and perhaps their unique passions.

A 3D artist from Patreon by the name of AkkoArcade received a warning message from Patreon after one of his 3D models was requested to be removed immediately by Nintendo of America. The model in question is a 3D model of peepee Bowser. We can’t share which model this is, but the artist has shared his story on Twitter.
The model was first distributed in June 2018, so there was a gap of 3 years before it was claimed by the DMCA. But the question is, is it true that Nintendo of America’s claim is true, or is it a prankster claiming to be Nintendo?
This is a rare case on Patreon which is usually a haven for NSFW artists. AkkoArcade itself is still pessimistic about this claim and decided to share the problematic 3D model to other sources so that other rogue SFM filmmakers can take advantage of it.
If the claimants are right Nintendo, this isn’t the first time they’ve killed off a fan-made “naughty” project. Last year Nintendo shut down the hentai fangame with Peach as the main star.
