Official! Spider-Man Will Be The Exclusive Marvel Avangers Character For PlayStation
It seems that Sony and Crystal Dynamics really don’t want to give rumors about this move. The reason is that a day after the rumors spread, Spiderman will only be present on the PS4 version of Marvel Avengers by UK retailer Base. Through the PlayStation Blog, Jeff Adams as Associate Art Director, Crystal Dynamics immediately confirmed this. This makes Spider-Man the second superhero after Hakw Eye, which was announced during the post-launch game.

In the post on the PlayStation Blog, Adams explained that the Marvels Avengers version of Spider-Man itself will have a skill tree, moveset and costumes that are quite unique compared to other characters. Interestingly, for the costume design itself, Steve Ditko and Jhon Romita Sr., who previously designed the comic version of Spider-Man, will work on it. The Marvel Avengers game itself is planned to be released on September 4, 2020 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Google Stadia, where previously the developer would provide 3 times the open-beta period which will be released in August.
