Racist to Football Players, EA Permanently Banned FIFA 20 Player
He should enjoy a permanent ban for his actions.
Racism is an act in which someone compares, commits acts of violence, to ridicule because other people’s race is different from him. This action was strongly criticized in various countries because the variety of human races could not determine the actions taken in a particular judgment. Video games are no exception.

Recently EA has permanently banned a player FIFA 20 18 years old, Patrick O’Brien for his acts of racism against soccer players or rather former Crystal Palace and Arsenal footballer, Ian Wright.
According to Eurogamer’s report, O’Brien’s actions were triggered by his defeat in the game FIFA 20 when using Ultimate Team which contains an Ian Wright card. O’Brien later sent a private message to Ian Wright’s real Instagram account with the words referring to racial slurs in May 2020.
The case was then brought to court which ended with O’Brien’s apology and his release from the law.

Wright said he was disappointed by the judge’s decision and said that O’Brien’s case was about the consequences of racism. According to him, the decision will not deter other people from doing the same thing in the future.
Unlike the judge, EA Sports immediately issued a permanent ban on O’Brien. According to David Jackson, FIFA vice president of brand, Ian Wright is part of the EA Sports family and they will continue to support him. The case of racism he experienced will not get any tolerance from EA. They will punish all players who violate the rules that have also been written in the game.
