Razer SEA Invitational 2020 will be the First Online Esports Tournament for Athletes

Razer prepares SEA Invitational for Southeast Asian esports athletes.

The outbreak of COVID-19 does not mean the end of all sports tournaments and championships. Some physical sports are now being replaced by online matches. Just say it MotoGP and F1 which uses a new game concoction of each officially licensed developer. Similar to physical sports, esports also gets the same treatment. One of them is like what Razer did below.

The Singapore-based gaming peripheral company will hold the Razer Southeast Asian Invitational 2020 this year. This tournament is a continuation of their success after the 2019 SEA Games yesterday. They held it to prepare athletes and federations for the 31st SEA Games next year in Vietnam.

The three games will be competed online and will be broadcast through Razer’s official social media accounts. Starting from YouTube, Facebook, to Twitch. Razer said it would soon announce the details in the near future.

The tournament, which was held with Tier One Entertainment, one of the best talent agencies for gaming and esports in Southeast Asia, will be attended by esports federations in ten Southeast Asian countries. Starting from Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
