Announced by Dr. Yimao Cai from the R&D department of the South Korean giant, this chipset is built on a 5 nanometer (NM) fabrication process. Combined using a Cortex-A78 processor core, as well as a Mali-G78 GPU.

In the interview, Dr. Yimao Cai said that the Exynos 1080 SoC got a benchmark score in the AnTuTu test application of more than 650,000 points. Could have scored higher after further optimization.

However, if you look at the average test results for smartphones based on Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 865+ in August, Exynos 1080 has topped AnTuTu’s rankings.

As we know, official data on the average AnTuTu score states that the current leader is the Asus ROG Phone 3 with a score of 615,000 points.

It is estimated that the first smartphone to run the Exynos 1080 SoC should be the Vivo X60.

There is currently no additional information about the smartphone, although there are currently many retail stores in China advertising the Vivo X60. As the successor to the Vivo X50, of course this phone will be a phone with a camera that is not inferior to the Vivo X50.
