Speedrunner Starts Race "Finish" Animal Crossing: New Horizons As Soon As Possible

Animal Crossing basically doesn’t have an “end” and can be played for as long as you want. But that doesn’t stop speedrunners from creating a “finish” game in the fastest time possible. This game has several types of speedruns ranging from speedruns to pay debts, speedruns to get golden tools, KK Slider concert speedruns and maybe many other speedruns that will be created in the future.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

No matter what type of speedrun is done, the technique used is the same, namely exploiting time-travel. Animal Crossing is a series that uses real-time, so it’s impossible to finish the game in 1 day without messing with the time in the system.

For the speedrun, the debt is divided into two, the nook miles debt which is the first debt given to you at the beginning of the game and the speedrun for all debts. For debt Nook Miles, currently held by eji765 within 12 minutes 46 seconds and for all debts held by P4ntz within 1 hour 17 minutes.

Another popular speedrun type of this game is the KK Slider concert speedrun. Animal Crossing doesn’t have a narrative ending to make a speedrun “end the game”, but credits will appear when you manage to invite KK Slider to a concert on your island. Therefore, the speedrunner community decided to take this point as the finish line.

To be able to invite KK Slider to the island, you will need a rating of 3 on the beauty of the island. By taking advantage of time-travel, the problem of time restrictions can be overcome in this speedrun. Now speedrunners only need to focus on fulfilling “250 invisible points” on the island to reach a rating of 3. The easiest way to achieve that rating is to fill the island with flowers, increase the island’s population and remove any weeds. By focusing on these 3 things, the speedrunner on behalf of Orcastraw managed to “finish” the game in less than 3 hours.

Of course, this way of playing is not recommended for ordinary players. Animal Crossing is designed to be played slowly and takes advantage of the real-time system, so you don’t have to rush to make progress because the game itself basically has no end goal from a narrative point of view.
