Speedrunner Starts Race "Finish" Animal Crossing: New Horizons As Soon As Possible

Now speedrunners only need to focus on fulfilling “250 invisible points” on the island to reach a rating of 3. The easiest way to achieve that rating is to fill the island with flowers, increase the island’s population and remove any weeds. By focusing on these 3 things, the speedrunner on behalf of Orcastraw managed to “finish” the game in less than 3 hours.

Of course, this way of playing is not recommended for ordinary players. Animal Crossing is designed to be played slowly and takes advantage of the real-time system, so you don’t have to rush to make progress because the game itself basically has no end goal from a narrative point of view.
