Square Enix Gives Latest Details on Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade

Square Enix recently shared the latest details regarding the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade. The Yuffie Episode DLC which is currently only available on PlayStation 5 will be titled Episode Intermission.

In this DLC, we will play as Yuffie Kisaragi who will take on the task of infiltrating the Shinra Corporation to steal powerful materials to restore the glory of his hometown.

As a member of the elite Wutai ninja operations corps, Yuffie himself is an expert in both close and long range combat. One of his unique abilities is to use a large shuriken which is his main weapon.

He can also use ninjutsu abilities with various elements such as fire, ice, lightning, or wind to attack enemies from a distance. Another ability he has is that he is able to create a kind of small hurricane to attack nearby enemies.

Besides being accompanied by Sonon Kusakabe, Yuffie will later meet several new characters such as Zhijie who is the liaison between the Wutai government and the Avalanche headquarters, as well as three members of the Avalanche organization, namely Nayo, Billy Bob, and Polk. Yuffie will also face Weiss, the ruler of the Shinra secret underground research center.

Gamers who have had Final Fantasy VII Remake in the PS4 library, you will get a PS5 version upgrade for free. However, the DLC Episode Intermission will be sold separately at a price of USD 19.99 or if converted to around 292 thousand rupiah.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade will be available in physical form, digital Standard Edition and Digital Deluxe Edition with a bonus digital mini soundtrack and digital artbook on June 10, 2021 for PlayStation 5.
