Strongest in its Class? Here's the Valkyrie Ability in Apex Legends

After announcing some things regarding Season 9 or Season Legacy Apex Legends, Respawn Entertainment has finally officially shown how one of the contents that has become the main concern, the new legend Valkyrie.

Although it was leaked by testers who were invited by EA and Respawn to try it, the public still hasn’t seen what its capabilities are in practice. Luckily, today Respawn showed it off in its newest trailer.

Valkyrie is a Recon legend type with two passive functions: detecting enemies in the air while flying, and being able to scan towers. Its main ability is to fly using a jetpack with high enough mobility even though it is not as high as Horizon or Octane. Here are the skills details:

Type: Recon
Passive 1: Scans enemies in flight as long as they are in sight and relays the information to teammates.
Passive 2: Scan the tower to see the next ring.
Passive 3 – VTOL Jet: Fly using a jetpack with a fuel system. Cannot use weapons other than tactical while flying.
Tactical – Missile Swarm: Launch a small rocket with a stun effect like arcstar, can be used both in flight and on the ground.
Ultimate – Skyward Dive: Fly alone or with friends. During flight, you can see and scan enemies in your field of vision (Passive 1).

Several YouTubers and influencers who were invited by EA and Respawn to try Valkyrie first admitted that the new legend Apex Legends this one won’t be as powerful as Horizon at release.

Players need a lot of practice to master the Valkyrie’s main ability which is to fly in difficult times. This is because the jetpack sound is very loud and the movement is not as fast as the Jump Pad Octane jump or the Pathfinder grapple hook catapult effect.

Valkyrie will be present together with Legacy Season (Season 9) Apex Legends on May 4, 2021 on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch.
