Uncharted Adaptation Director Leaves for the Second Time

However, instead of giving good news about the development of its own production, the film starring Tom Holland has again lost its second director, namely Dan Trachtenberg, after previously directed by Shawn Levy, who left due to conflicting schedules. Sony Pictures itself did not explain the reason for the departure of the second director
Reporting from Deadline, Sony Pictures is now moving quickly to find a new director who will replace Dan Trachtenberg. The search for a new director is expected to be completed by the end of August and is ready to enter production early next year. The film adaptation of Uncharted will also be the first production for the PlayStation Productions division.
For information, this film adaptation of Uncharted will tell the story before the Uncharted game series takes place, where we will witness a young Nathan Drake who grows up to become a treasure hunter. And in this film we will also see more adventures between young Nathan Drake and young Victor Sullivan. The film adaptation of Uncharted is planned to be released on December 18, 2020.
