Dareu LM-107 Review: 100 Thousand Mouse for Gaming
Dareu LM-107 is a solution for cheap gaming and is also proof that Dareu doesn’t just issue expensive products.
We also need to remember that there is a price, of course there is quality. We can’t expect high-end features like the Razer Viper 8KHz that the author of a previous review of this mouse has reviewed.
However, because Dareu LM-107 is indeed a gaming mouse, of course the author will try this mouse for gaming needs. What is it like to play games with an entry-level mouse with a price range of 100 thousand?
Check out the Dareu LM-107 review below.
Curved Design and Prominent Buttons
Dareu LM-107 has a non-ambidex design that curves on the sides of its body. The mouse material uses black matte ABS plastic and weighs 90 grams. While the mouse cable is 1.8 meters long which is made of ordinary rubber, like an entry-level mouse.
The size of the mouse is 11.7 cm long, 6.6 cm wide, and 4 cm high. For this height, the author uses a mouse with a claw grip either for gaming scenarios or while surfing the internet.
With the PMW 3519 sensor, the Dareu LM-107 has a DPI level of up to 4200. Pretty standard for an entry-level mouse. But it’s actually quite enough even if some of you play games with high DPI settings. However, for users who have 4K monitors, we recommend looking for a mouse with a higher DPI sensor than this mouse. Of course a high DPI will make it easier to move the mouse cursor from one place to another.
The back or palm rest of the mouse has the Dareu icon which is also a place for RGB besides the scroll button. This flame feature will automatically turn on when the cable is plugged in. The RGB LED color is also automatically replaced from one color to another when the DPI setting is also changed. So to change the LED color it adjusts the DPI level. The existing LED colors range from: red (800 DPI), green (1200 DPI), blue (2400 DPI), and pink (4200 DPI).
Then the bottom of the Dareu LM-107 looks plain which has 3 pads to help the mouse movement.
Inconvenient Button
There are 2 side buttons and a DPI button which is located right behind the scroll button. This DPI button looks a bit protruding back so as to provide space between the scroll and the dpi button. The author also finds it quite difficult to press the DPI button because it is too far from the scroll button.
It would be nice if the DPI button was made a bit longer or closer to the scroll button so that it was easier for users to press it. Also, unfortunately we have not been able to set the DPI level template again on this mouse which in the end as users, we have to surrender to the DPI template settings that have been set from the manufacturer. There are also levels, namely: 800 DPI, 1200 DPI, 2400 DPI, and 4200 DPI.
Then the 2 left side buttons are long and quite prominent. The top of the button is a bit sharp, so if the author looks at it from the side, the tip is clearly visible. The side button when I press it feels light and there is a feedback bump that pushes the finger.
Overall, the Dareu LM-107 button is a bit frail and less comfortable for writers to use, whether gaming or not. But fortunately, the author personally rarely uses the side button and DPI button for gaming scenarios.

Dareu LM-107 Review Conclusion: 100 Thousand Mouse for Gaming
I don’t recommend this mouse for the use of large-scale gaming scenarios, especially fast-paced games like Apex Legends. The author is very familiar with entry-level mice that have perfunctory features. However, this mouse has drawbacks in that the buttons are located less comfortable (namely the DPI button), and are too protruding outward (for the side buttons). Even though we will rarely use these three buttons in the middle of the game. But besides the drawbacks, the advantages of this mouse are in its weight which is under 100 grams so that precision and accuracy are maintained. That’s what I feel at least when playing fast-paced battle royale games like Apex Legends. Besides that, because it’s a gaming mouse, don’t forget Dareu also embeds 4 RGB LED colors into this mouse which unfortunately we can’t tinker with as we like because it adjusts the manufacturer’s DPI settings.
