Give a bad review, MSI tries to bribe the following reviewers
MSI tried to bribe reviewers because of their product reviews.
Product reviews, whether gadgets or video games, are very important for those who want to play them. This is because they need to consider whether the product they need to buy or not according to their interests and needs. The reviewers will generally be given a review of the unit or free game from the party who wants to promote their product.

They generally don’t care about whether the product is bad or good. But who would have thought that a company of MSI’s caliber could do things that the following reviewers shouldn’t have done.
Prior to posting the review, I contacted MSI to see if they could confirm my findings. I held the review for weeks waiting for them to test a unit, but they didn’t. Instead they offered to pay me to not post the review and tried to persuade me (“only you and me know you have it”)

This happened to a small YouTuber named TechTeamGB who claimed that MSI tried to bribe him after he gave a bad review on the MSI Bravo 15 laptop. TechTeamGB admitted that the laptop had a lot of disappointing features. Starting from the display, poor thermal settings, and the trackpad (touch mouse) which has an erratic quality.
Before posting it, he submitted the review to MSI so that they would check on a similar unit of his. All to ensure that the unit that TechTeamGB receives is not a factory defect. However, who would have guessed that MSI actually tried to bribe him not to post the review.
Just to clarify, AMD were on my side here. The PR rep had already written his reply saying it’s a problem with the laptop, not the youtuber. He just called to let me know.

Refusing to do so, TechTeamGB claimed to have been contacted by MSI again so that they would remove the word “disappointing” in the title of the video, but they flatly refused. Not giving up, MSI asked AMD for help to take down the video, fortunately AMD defended TechTeamGB and said that the error occurred on the laptop and not the reviewer.
This is very disappointing behavior from those companies who absolutely should (and do) know better. If you need further help (in addition to GN), please reach out because we don’t tolerate this and you shouldn’t have to either

This doesn’t match our experiences working with MSI, but I’ve always believed that the true measure of character is how someone treats the small guy…. – LS pic.twitter.com/lZoy7ur7hh

Knowing this, major channels like HardwareUnboxed and Linus Tech Tips offered their help should MSI try to sue TechTeamGB legally.
Unfortunately, as of this writing, there has been no public clarity from MSI regarding the case experienced by TechTeamGB.
