Here's What You Won't Get If You Buy Marvel's Avengers on PC

Video game exclusive content may be something that is arguably unfair to some multiplatform games in particular Marvel’s Avengers. Where PlayStation will provide content exclusivity including the presence of Spider-Man which can only be obtained if you buy the PS4 version of the game. All because Sony owns the rights to it.

This business strategy is not new, considering that the same strategy was implemented in the past SoulCalibur for PS2 and Xbox with their own exclusive content.

But unlike that case, PlayStation seems to want to monopolize Marvel’s Avengers for the sake of presenting exclusive content that can only be obtained on the console. Yes, not including the PC version at all even though they have released one of the exclusive games, namely Horizon: Zero Dawn to PC yesterday.

Through the trailer, Sony Interactive Entertainment explains what players can get if they buy Marvel’s Avengers on PlayStation 4. Some of them are betas, which in total, PlayStation 4 has three times the beta access compared to those who bought it on PC or Xbox One. The early access beta starting today is also only available for those who purchased it on PlayStation 4.

In addition to the early access beta, community challenges, legendary costumes 30 days in advance, to the exclusive Spider-Man hero which is absolutely only owned by those who buy the game on PlayStation 4, this is also an advantage for players who buy it on the console from Japan.

At first glance this business seems unfair, but that’s how business is. Now, all decisions are in your hands. Will you buy the PlayStation 4 version after knowing the content on offer?
