NBA Opens Inquiry into Bogdan Bogdanovic's Sign-And-Trade
The NBA has opened an investigation into the failed sign-and-trade deal between the Sacramento Kings and Milwaukee Bucks which will send Bogdan Bogdanovic to Milwaukee, according to Marc Stein from the New York Times.

On Tuesday, Adrian Wojnarowski ESPN reports that Bogdanovic has agreed to become a limited free agent.
Dan signed a contract with the Bucks after the trade which would also send Justin James to the Bucks in exchange for Donte DiVincenzo, Ersan Ilyasova and DJ Wilson.
However, Bogdan Bogdanovic’s situation with Milwaukee Bucks and the Sacramento Kings are currently complicated.
The Serbian swingman appeared poised to join the Bucks via sign-and-trade at the start of the offseason, but now things are very different.
The deal fell through as reports surfaced that Bogdanovic never agreed to move. According to Jason Anderson from The Sacramento Bee, “never a deal”.
It’s unclear exactly how the communication between Kings, Bucks and Bogdanovic was going, but a source from Milwaukee clearly discussed it a little prematurely.

Either way, the miscommunication has led to a deterioration in relations between Bogdanovic and the Bucks, likely prompting the talented Serbian wing to look elsewhere when he reaches free agent on Saturday.

Bogdanovic turned down a four-year contract extension worth $ 51.4 million from Kings before the 2019-20 season. On this day, Ilysova was waive by the Bucks, possibly indicating something was on the trade.

“And then on Sunday we might have agreed. “But Bogdan Bogdanović’s representatives are adamant that this is not approved, Bogdan himself has told people himself that I will see what offer I get on Friday.
“He wants to play for the Bucks, okay? He’s in touch with Giannis Antetokounmpo, this is what he wants, we’ll see what happens. “
The deal that fell through was a major blow to the Bucks. Hours after acquiring a Jrue Holiday from the New Orleans Pelicans for an enormous asset package.
The Bucks seem to land Bogdanovic at a very reasonable price. The Bucks hope the addition of another skilled and versatile playmaker will persuade Giannis to sign a contract extension.
The offer is in the form of a five-year supermax contract extension before the December 21 deadline.
