Assassin's Creed Writer Wants Series Set in Brazil
Brazil for Assassin’s Creed setting seems interesting.
We all know that the series Assassin’s Creed always raise the theme of world history with a fictional spice added. Starting from its history which was inspired by a group called Hashashin who was in the middle east country, to its peak in France and England as the most modern era.

With Valhalla which concludes the pre-Assassin era trilogy, of course many fans are curious as to which country and history will the series be appointed. Some of them began to speculate based on their respective imaginations. The loudest opinion they often voice is to adopt Japan as the next country.
But different fans, different story writers. Through his interview with The Gamer, one of the senior writers Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Alain Mercieca had expressed his interest in South American history. A location where the franchise has not done much deeper exploration.
According to him, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag indeed had time to flick the world in the era of the Caribbean pirates. But not so deep. He is personally very interested in adopting Brazil as the theme of the series.
Mercieca continued that he was also interested in the history of the Spanish conquistadors and the Incas. According to him, several other countries and settings such as small islands in Malta are also very interesting to explore.
Of course, this is only Mercieca’s personal opinion as a storyteller and history buff. His opinion is not a confirmation of the presence of the theme Assassin’s Creed next. In other words, fans must bury their hopes deep and don’t have to expect anything from his words.
Ubisoft is currently providing a new update for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla including preparations for expansion that will be present until the end of 2021 or early 2022.
