Call of Duty Cheat Software Seller Sued by Activision
So that they no longer worry.
Cheaters have indeed become one of the problems that always plagues PC competitive multiplayer games. This also happened to Activision with one of its major flagship franchises, Call of Duty. This time CxCheats was sued by Activision for selling illegal software to mess up the game Call of Duty.
A screenshot of the Discord page posted by one of the MrTheRevertz reddit users, CxCheats admitted to agreeing with Activision’s demands and stopping the distribution of cheats for Call of Duty. CxCheats will not produce and distribute it on the website.
Along with the announcement, his Discord page has been discontinued and is no longer operating.
CxCheats itself has distributed several cheats for multiplayer Call of Duty. Starting from aimbot, UI hack, wallhack, making the radar bigger, to others. They start at $60.
Of course this makes a lot of naughty players who use it and have spent $100 feeling disappointed. However, the post was immediately responded to very well by other honest players. Many of them are grateful for the actions taken by Activision.
