According to CDPR, Digital Scapes has been an excellent partner and has helped a lot during the development of Cyberpunk 2077. They helped in various aspects of the game, especially feature optimization.
Digital Scapes will be the first CDPR branch to be located outside of Poland. Previously the studio had 3 branches located in Warsaw, Krakow and Wroclaw.
Digital Scapes was built in 2012 with veterans from Bioware, Radical Entertainment, and Relic. This studio is more focused as a support studio in projects belonging to other studios, especially on aspects of multiplayer, console, and PC gameplay. They have helped in the development of Cyberpunk 2077, Dying Light, Company of Heroes, Dead Rising, Mass Effect, Prototype, etc.
Joining Digital Scapes as a new branch of CDPR, hopefully it can make a big contribution to CDPR projects in the future. Its location which is far from Poland is also expected not to be a burden but a connecting bridge for the game industry of the two countries.
CDPR is now focusing on fixing Cyberpunk 2077. Patch 1.2 has just been released for consoles and PCs with 500 fixes made for the patch.
