This news was first discovered on Twitter through a tweet by Robert Sephazon, who translated via an official press release taken from third-party media that Nintendo was getting a leak in the security section of its system. Details like ID, Date of Birth, Country, and Email were all leaked in the hands of hackers. However, Nintendo says that no credit card information has been leaked.
This is not the first time in the gaming industry where players feel insecure, for example, Sony also experienced the same thing a few years ago. Hopefully Nintendo can strengthen the security of its system and maintain the privacy of its players in the future.
