PUBG Mobile Plans to Release Map Erangel 2.0 in September

It looks like PUBG Mobile players’ wait for the latest version of Erangel has been answered. After experiencing a delay of almost a year, finally Erangel 2.0 is officially present on the test server of PUBG Mobile. The plan is that after visiting the test server, the latest version of Erangel is prepared by the developer for a global release on September 21, 2020 along with a new mode called Ace Union.

Of course, the presence of the latest version of Erangel is accompanied by several significant changes in appearance or gameplay. In terms of graphics, Erangel 2.0 will reportedly support settings for Ultra High Quality, where this will make the environment in this map, such as water, buildings, and various objects appear more detailed and more alive.

Meanwhile, in terms of gameplay, Erangel 2.0 will present significant changes, because the latest version of this map adds a new location called Basements and several new layouts for Prison, Mine, and Nuclear Plant locations. Basements itself is said to be a location that will make so much loot and so contact between players will occur quite often here. As for the new Ace Union mode itself, reportedly will have a feature called Memory Fragment, where you are required to collect 5 types of existing fragments to win the game.

Considering that Erangel itself is currently only available on the test server version, most likely when it is released later the developer will add various updates and new features that will provide a new experience when trying Erangel 2.0. Let’s just wait, hopefully this one map won’t be delayed again by Tencent and Timi Studio.
