Too Good at Playing Valorant, Female Streamer from the Philippines Accused of Using Cheats

It is not new for women to enter the gaming industry, become a streamer or play competitive games. Not infrequently, they even won prestigious video game events or joined one of the famous esports teams. However, some time ago, one of the female streamers from the Philippines, Mika Daime, was accused of being underwhelming from two streamers and one professional player. The accusation was made by Mika Daime while playing the game by Riot Games, Valorant, with Matt “Wardell” Yu, and Keven ‘Player 1’ Champagne.

Mika Daime himself was accused by his playmate, after showing an impressive game with great accuracy in defeating his enemies. However, Daime didn’t get praise, instead he was accused of using aim bot cheats and wall hacks by Wardell and Keven because of the game. The accusation eventually went viral and made Riot Games intervene to straighten out the problem. Through the post on Tier One Entertainment’s Facebook account, Riot said that Daime was not proven to use cheats and was proven to play in a clean way.

Seeing that the problem was clear and not proven to have cheated, finally Keven apologized to Daime through his twitter account. Of course, this is an important lesson for all gaming communities, where it’s good to always think positively when playing games. In addition, the steps taken by Riot are also commendable, where the developer of the League of Legends game immediately clarified the problem, before it spread to the Valorant community.
