Voiced by Sam Fisher Confirms New Splinter Cell

This year has certainly been a busy year for Ubisoft, with a myriad of AAA games being prepared for release as well as the PR of games that are currently stalled in the development process. We’ve even made a list of games that should have appeared at Ubisoft Forward yesterday but disappeared.

We are now officially on the platform Tiktok! Follow our Tiktok account at @gamebrott.com to find various information and our other interesting video content.

Splinter Cell’s name is of course also on the list, and while there’s no information about this title there seems to be some hope that confirms the prediction that this Tom Clancy title will be back in action soon.

Luca Ward Sam Fisher 2

This itself came from one of the Italian voice actors for the main character – Sam Fisher, namely Luca Ward who was interviewed by the Italian media multiplayer.it. In his interview, he assured that the Splinter Cell series will return and will be the final game for the series. However, Ward also explained that the game itself is currently stuck and is waiting to continue.

Initially this new Splinter Cell series was projected for this year (2020) but due to the many things that happened in 2020 (pandemic, protests, etc.) the project was finally postponed and is now planned for 2021 although Ward himself said that at this point they (Ubisoft) hasn’t decided whether to release it in 2021 or not.

The words of Luca Ward can’t be sure that this Splinter Cell game will come in the near future. Moreover, Ubisoft’s own studios are currently still busy, for example the studio that worked on the last game, Splinter Cell: Blacklist, namely Ubisoft Toronto, which is working on 2 AAA games at once, Far Cry 6 and Watch Dogs Legion. Ubisoft’s other main studio, Montreal, is also working on Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, Hyper Scape, and Roller Champions.

But it looks like we can see that the latest Splinter Cell game is already in the works but is still on the long waiting list from Ubisoft. Which of course is still uncertain when it will be reworked to be completed. Hopefully, Ubisoft will bring this new Splinter Cell to the surface through the 2nd Ubisoft Forward event later this year.
