3 Figures That Stole Netizens' Attention During the 2019 E3 Press Conference

The series of E3 2019 press conferences, which were opened by Microsoft and closed by Nintendo, certainly left very memorable moments. From the very special and unexpected, to those that may seem strange and embarrassing to the bone or what netizens often call cringe.

Among the various presentations made by the gentlemen (and mothers) that are sometimes boring, three figures appear who seem like a breath of fresh air and even give the impression wholesome. Here are the three figures who managed to steal the hearts of netizens.

Keanu Reeves — Microsoft

The presence of actor Keanu Reeves in Cyberpunk 2077 was certainly one of the things that was completely unexpected when it was first showcased at Microsoft’s E3. It didn’t stop there, the actor even came to the Microsoft conference to slightly promote how cool Cyberpunk 2077 is.

But what makes this moment happen wholesome was when he described players going to explore the Night City which breath taking or dazzling, and a spectator shouts “You’re breath-taking!” to Keanu. Suddenly blushing a little, Keanu then replied to the call to all the audience.



Furthermore, the man who called out was identified as Peter Sark. After uploading the rare moment on Twitter, CD Projekt Red as the developer of Cyberpunk 2077 immediately responded and will give Peter the game Cyberpunk 2077 Collector’s Edition for free upon its release. Ikumi Nakamura — Bethesda

It’s undeniable that Bethesda may have a line line up an ordinary game. However, one new game that is quite interesting from the Bethesda conference is GhostWire: Tokyo which is produced by the creators of The Evil Within, Tango Gameworks. You can check the game on this page.

One thing that was interesting during the presentation of the game GhostWire: Tokyo, was when the Creative Director, Ikumi Nakamura, appeared to give a little presentation on the game. He looks so excited and nervous at the same time when speaking in front of so many people. But what makes him anxious are the various small movements he does to fight this nervousness.



Although not a few people think his behavior is annoying and makes cringe down to the bone, the figure of Ikumi Nakamura seems to have managed to steal the hearts of Netizens. So many fan art appeared about him that looks so excited, and some of them even brought Keanu Reeves with him. Through her Twitter, Ikumi even stated that he was very happy and saved some of the fan art in his cell phone.

For information, before becoming Creative Director for the game GhostWire: Tokyo, Ikumi Nakamura was also the Lead Artist behind phenomenal games such as Okami, Bayonetta, and of course The Evil Within. And now that he is acting as Creative Director, of course we can expect the best from the game GhostWire: Tokyo.

Bam Bam — Ubisoft

When Death Stranding has Norman Reedus and Mads Mikkelsen, Cyberpunk 2077 has Keanu Reeves, Ubisoft doesn’t seem to want to be left behind by presenting Jon Bernthal in Ghost Recon Breakpoint. And through Ubisoft’s E3 conference, Jon Bernthal was also present to give a little presentation about the game Ghost Recon Breakpoint.

But apparently, what became the center of attention for the internet during the presentation was the dog that Jon brought, named Bam Bam. While it may not be as lively as Keanu Reeves or Ikumi Nakamura, for dog lovers, this is certainly a unique and rare moment in E3 history.



For information, Bam Bam is the youngest Pit bull dog adopted by Jon Bernthal in 2017. And since then, Bam Bam has been regularly featured in Jon’s Instagram and Twitter photos.

The fans themselves seemed to be quite fascinated by the dog who was very docile and looked professional in front of so many people during the Ubisoft conference. Some of them didn’t even focus on Jon’s presentation, and chose to keep their eyes on Bam Bam.
