A mangaka named Matsumoto told his experience when he was playing Apex Legends and his mother watched him play. Instead of telling him to study or clean the house like most parents, for example, his mother criticized Matsumoto’s way of playing which was considered very noob.

The mother said that Matsumoto always lost because he played barbarically by constantly jumping in front of the enemy. When asked why her mother understood the Apex Legends game, her mother chirped in reply, “Mom (enough) understands that you get killed all the time.” Suddenly this made Matsumoto realize his bad habit and admit that his mother’s words were true.
