Activision Clarifies Needs Of 175 GB Capacity To Handle Call of Duty Modern Warfare
Surprise was probably the first expression fans had when Activision announced PC specs to handle the reboot of Call of Duty Modern Warfare. The need for a storage capacity of 175 GB is considered by many gamers to be too “bloated” and stifling, even exceeding Red Dead Redemption 2 which requires a capacity of 150 GB. But now, a little good news comes from Activision, they are trying to clarify the specifications needed for Call of Duty Modern Warfare, especially on the required storage capacity.

At the beginning of its release, the game will not require that much free storage. The figure of 175 GB mentioned by Activision is just a recommendation, they recommend that much free space because in the future there will be many updates that make the game file more bloated. This is quite similar to what happened in GTA V, where at the beginning of its release, the game was only around 60 GB in size, but now it has almost touched 90 GB.
Call of Duty Modern Warfare will be released on October 25, 2019, for PC, PlayStation 4, & Xbox One.
