All Kingdom Hearts Series to PC via Epic Games Store; Here are the specifications

In practice, Epic Games is one of the companies that dares to make a new “breakthrough” that is very tempting for video game business activists, namely publishers. They dare to take a much smaller profit of 12% compared to the standard already on the market, which is 30%.

The result? Many publishers flocked to the Epic Games Store and only released their games there. One of the biggest is Ubisoft, followed by several other indie developers. Including developers Shenmue III which finally had to be drugged with money and kicked the backers who had supported the development of the game.

Now, it looks like Square-Enix is ​​the next company to follow in Ubisoft’s footsteps to release its game franchise to PC on the Epic Games Store. The franchise is Kingdom Hearts.

Through the Epic Games Store Spring Showcase livestream, Square-Enix and Epic Games announced that for the first time the franchise Kingdom Hearts will be released to PC. There are four games that they will release, namely: Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 + 2.5 ReMIX, Kingdom Hearts HD 2.8: Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts 3, and of course the rhythm version, Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memories.

The four titles will be released exclusively for Epic Games which will launch on March 30, 2021.

It is not yet clear whether the signature of this exclusivity will be the same as that of other publishers who have kept their games from leaving the Epic Games Store for a year.
