America Approves Video Games as Child Therapy Media
It looks like the American government is starting to soften a bit on the video. Having always been considered the mastermind behind every child’s delinquency, this time the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has approved treatment using video games for children with attention deficit hyperactivity disorder or ADHD. Although the American government has only announced one game that can be used for therapy, this has become a new chapter between video games and the land of Uncle Sam.

Previously, the FDA itself has conducted research on 600 children and conducted five clinical studies, before ratifying the policy. The video game that will be used for the therapy is EnderavoruRX, where this game is an airplane simulation game where you are tasked with directing your plane to avoid obstacles and collect various items. Later, during the self-therapy process, the children aged 8-12 years, are required to play this game for 30 minutes per day, within a week, and the treatment cycle is a month. The main goal of EndervoruRX itself is to improve focus and reduce ADHD symptoms in the child.
Of course, with the approval of the EnderavoruRX game, it is a good start for the American government and Video Games. Given the large number of video games with genres similar to EndervoruRX, it is likely that in the future the US government will update the list of games used for child therapy.
