Apex Legends Dev Calls Rampart Ability Leaks are Old Files

The leak that had surfaced was an old file?

A few weeks ago, we were surprised by the leaks of several new heroes or legends from Apex Legends. One of the many pieces of information extracted by the dataminers was the whereabouts of Rampart, who seemed to have quite mature abilities.

However, what if we say that the information is misguided?

This is confirmed by the author Apex Legends, Tom Casiello who gave the detailed explanation. According to Casiello, Rampart will not come with abilities according to leaks that have surfaced on the internet. Makes the rumors die instantly and doesn’t become the truth of Rampart’s abilities at all.

Casiello also admitted that the leaked Rampart ability was an old file that had leaked. In other words, Respawn had renewed his abilities.

This change is not something new in development Apex Legends. This is evidenced by Loba’s ability to change completely before he was finally introduced. This means we will have to wait for when Respawn will announce it.

However, with the end of the game story in season 5 which gave a signal of Ash’s presence from Titanfall 2 to Apex Legends, then they probably won’t release Rampart as a new legend in season 6. However, things could change until season 6 starts.

Apex Legends now it can be played on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game will be released to Nintendo Switch towards the end of the year. Respawn Entertainment will also implement a crossplay feature between PC and console, as well as release it on Steam alongside other EA games when the game releases on the Nintendo Switch.
