Apex Legends Switch Version Ready to Launch March 2021

Can play while lying down.

A few years ago, Respawn and Electronic Arts announced that the battle royale hero shooter Apex Legends will be coming to Nintendo Switch around the end of 2020. However, they canceled their plans due to problems encountered during development. Not including working from home which was implemented after COVID-19 hit the world. The good news? Now players don’t have to wait any longer.

Chad Grenier, Director Apex Legends explained through EA’s official blog that they will release a Nintendo Switch version of the game on March 9, 2021. According to Grenier, porting the battle royale hero shooter game to Switch is an achievement in itself.

Respawn assisted by Panic Button to do porting Apex Legends to the Nintendo Switch. They are proud that they have succeeded in carrying out optimal optimization for the hybrid console that allows players to play the game on the go.

Just like other platforms, Nintendo Switch version Apex Legends will present cross-platform play, season 8 content, and full game features without being reduced in the slightest. Respawn who understands that the game is releasing towards the end of season 8 also adds 30 free levels for the free lane battle pass. Playing it via Switch two weeks after its release will also give you double XP to catch up.

Apex Legends planned for release to Nintendo Switch on March 9, 2021.
