Unlike other games that keep getting new content, Need for Speed: Heat only has two paid DLC with no other additions to the game. Making the racing game seem like a classic game that was released in the past. But this time, EA and Criterion are trying to provide technical support, namely playing with players from other platforms or the cool language is called crossplay.

General Manager of Criterion Games, Matt Webster explained that starting on June 9 or around June 10 for the eastern hemisphere, Need for Speed: Heat will add crossplay feature. This feature allows players to play with players from PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One at the same time.

This feature automatically creates Need for Speed: Heat became the first Electronic Arts game to have a crossplay feature. Webster continued that on June 16th they will also add the game to EA Origin Access. Allows you to play it only by paying for the game subscription service.

As of this writing, it is not yet clear whether other EA games will support the crossplay feature in the future. But Webster made it clear that they wanted to make a series Need for Speed then to adapt the same features to unite the community.

Need for Speed: Heat now it can be played on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Those of you who are still hesitant to buy it can read our review of the game.
