Assassin's Creed to Get a Netflix Adaptation Including Anime

Netflix is ​​actively making anime including Assassin’s Creed.

Of the many movie streaming services, Netflix may be one of the most popular in the world. Apart from the fact that the films they present are quite complete, they also often have original series that are no less interesting and exciting to follow. Some of them are series Ultraman, until The Witcher which had previously been adapted in a video game. Now, it seems they want to expand it more widely for video game adaptations.

Ubisoft announces partnership with Netflix for franchise adaptation Assassin’s Creed. Through their official blog, they explained that this adaptation will be divided into three types: live-action series, animation, to anime.

Interestingly, unlike feature films, the TV series will be produced by live Ubisoft Film staff, namely Jason Altman and Danielle Kreinik. Altman explained on his blog that they wanted to make the next saga out of Assassin’s Creed in the live-action film series.

Unfortunately, there is no clarity whatsoever on what kind of live-action film series will be working on by Ubisoft and Netflix. The same thing is experienced by the animated and anime versions.

This isn’t the first time Ubisoft has introduced an adaptation Assassin’s Creed in a movie. Previously, they collaborated with New Regency Production to make a feature film with Michael Fassbender as the main character. Unfortunately, he ended up normal. This translates into a negative response from the game’s fans. Could the collaboration between Ubisoft and Netflix be successful in covering up their previous failure? Let’s just wait.
