Asus Introduces 3 New Gaming Laptops at ROG Be Unstopable Event

ASUS is currently holding an event to introduce three types of its newest gaming laptop. The event titled ROG “Be Unstoppable“This is a product launch ROG biggest ever done in Indonesia. This event was reportedly attended by various high-ranking technology and media industry leaders from all over Indonesia, this event will also be witnessed by fans ROG either live or via live streaming.

“We have a series of innovative products that have won various international awards to be introduced directly in front of Indonesian gamers,” said Jimmy Lin, ASUS Regional Director, Southeast Asia.

“Everything will certainly be present in Indonesia and gamers can try it if they attend the ROG ‘Be Unstoppable’ event tomorrow.Wednesday (11.7,2019).

In this event, Asus will introduce 3 types of their new products in the Gaming Laptop line, namely Republik of Gamers or commonly abbreviated ROG. In the event 3 gaming laptops which will be introduced is ROG Zephyrus GU502, ROG Strix G531 and the last is ROG Mothership.

In its press release, Asus said that these three gaming laptops are intended for: three different types of users, in the Zephyrus series, for example, this gaming laptop has a type of gaming laptop with a thin model where the thickness is said to be only 20mm.

ROG Zephyrus GU502 said to no longer carry the Active Aerocooling System (AAS) cooling system. Instead, this laptop carries a new design with a special cooling system equipped with Anti-Dust Cooling technology. It says the technology prevents dust and other particles from clogging the cooling system, which can impede airflow and cause component damage.

For specifications ROG Zephyrus GU502 appear powerful thanks to the processor 9^th Gen Intel Core, to be exact Intel Core i7-9750H. The processor with a configuration of 6 cores and 12 threads is capable of running up to 4.5GHz in Turbo mode.

The next series is ROG Strix 531Strix itself is a gaming laptop series that is quite different from the others because ROG Strix 531 comes with a screen that has refresh rate up to 240Hz and response time up to 3ms. The screen allows eSport gamers to be able to respond to every action in the game more quickly.

For design, this time Asus was inspired by ROG Face Off, a future concept laptop designed by the team ASUS ROG in collaboration with BMW Designworks Group. Gaming laptop design ROG Strix G531 has the feel of a sports car with a hot air exhaust system and several ports placed on the back.

ROG Strix G531 it is said that there is a unique feature called Keystone, which is a special device that can be paired to this gaming laptop. Keystone has many functions such as saving profiles and display settings RGB Backlit to display “Shadow Drive”, which is a hidden storage drive that can only be accessed if a keystone is attached.

The last series is ROG Mothership where this series is aimed at gamers who prioritize performance.
