Bali United Officially Forms Own Esports Team in Indonesia
A new breakthrough was made by one of the Indonesian football teams, Bali United. One of the biggest football clubs in Indonesia that is now participating in the Indonesian Liga 1 competition is now expanding its wings to the realm of esports. They collaborated with an esport team in Bali called Island of Gods.

With this collaboration, Bali United officially became the first Indonesian football team to enter the world of esports. Previously, there was a big French club, Paris Saint Germain, which also collaborated with the Indonesian Mobile Legends esport team, Rex Regum Qeon.
The Island od Gods team itself has not published what branch of the game they will participate in. However, through their Instagram account they provide updated information about news of popular games in Indonesia such as Mobile Legends: Bang-Bang, Dota 2, and PlayersUnknown’s BattleGround. It is possible that these three games will be followed by the Island of Gods team.
They seem to be preparing for an esports tournament to select talented players from Bali to be members of their team. We’ll see if the team from Bali United will be able to get to the top of the esports stage in the country. And will other Indonesian football teams follow in the footsteps of Bali United by exploring the world of esports.
