Developer: PS5 Is Hardware With Ease Of Video Game Development

Video Games appear to be easier to create on the PlayStation 5 than previous iterations.

Creating a new video game console means making a video game that was originally created on a PC, having to adapt the code to the console that was created. Therefore, developers need a development kit so that the code matches the engine that will run the game. The PlayStation 4 has indeed become one of today’s consoles that might be said to be equivalent to a gaming PC. But unfortunately, adjusting the code for making the game doesn’t seem as easy as turning the palm of the hand. Therefore, it is not surprising that some games experience bugs when compared to other platform versions, especially PCs. The good news, it seems that this is not repeated on the PlayStation 5.

Through an interview in this month’s issue of Dengeki magazine (via DualShockers), President of Sony Interactive Entertainment Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida explains how the PlayStation 3 is the most difficult console to develop video games. While its successor, PlayStation 4 is trying to improve it.

According to him, developers need to overcome problems that occur on the console and cannot focus on completing the game. Therefore they continue to develop the technology to make it easier to make on the PlayStation 4, and even easier for the PlayStation 5. The result? Many developers say that the PlayStation 5 is the easiest hardware for developing video games.

Of course, with some of these conveniences, developers will focus more on developing their games and providing the best playing experience for their players. Let’s just wait!
