Classic RTS Game Battle Realms Is Coming Back This Month on Steam

It seems that some well-known franchise holders are starting to want to revive the suspended genre. Proven by the release of the second series Age of Empires Definitive Edition, release plan Age of Empires IV, Warcraft III Reforged, until the remaster of Command & Conquer, and Red Alert. Yes, you read correctly. Battle Realms: Winter of the Wolf will return to PC as an Early Access game on Steam. This was announced by their Community Manager, KoMiKoZa through their official Facebook page. According to him, the Early Access version this time is not a re-release like they did at GOG, but a version where the game will continue to get the latest updates from the developer. He also gave details that the game will have better online multiplayer support.

For those of you who don’t know, Battle Realms is an RTS game that allows you to train your citizens in the dojo to become soldiers in order to defend one of the four clans you control. Starting from Dragon, Serpent, Wolf, and Lotus. Each clan has its own hero that can be summoned using Yin or Yang points that can only be obtained from battle. The game has an iconic main story that fans love so much. Unfortunately, only Dragon, Serpent, and Wolf have got it. While the new expansion Lair of the Lotus which was supposed to say Lotus had to be canceled because of the multi-million dollar manufacturing cost. Now, with the plan to release the game on Steam as Early Access, of course, it is hoped that they can raise money to make the next expansion.

Unfortunately, until this moment there is no clarity on what version they will return on Steam. Is it a classic version, or an upgraded one with higher resolution support. KoMiKoZa just said that its Steam page is currently still in curation status and will appear along with its new website.
