In the Japanese version of Nintendo Direct, several exclusive games that will only be released in Japan are announced by Nintendo. One of them? Anime adaptation Crayon Shin-chan.

Nintendo announced Crayon Shin-chan: Ora to Hakase no Natsu Yasumi -Owaranai Nanokakan no Tabi- or which translates to “Crayon Shin-chan: My Summer Vacation with the Professor -Endless Weekend Trip-“.

This game will invite players to play Nohara Shinnosuke or familiarly called Shin-chan. He and the Nohara family are said to have been on vacation in Kyushu for seven days. Various children’s holiday activities can be done in this game, such as fishing, catching insects, to interacting with local residents.

But since Shin-chan’s meeting with an eccentric professor, all of his life changes. Starting from village children who are similar to their kindergarten friends, to the appearance of dinosaurs and ninjas in the village.

Crayon Shin-chan: Ora to Hakase no Natsu Yasumi -Owaranai Nanokakan no Tabi- planned to be released on Nintendo Switch this summer in Japan. As of this writing, it is not clear whether the game will get an official English translation or not.
