Crysis Remastered Shows Raytracing on PS4 and Xbox One

Here’s what Crysis Remastered’s raytracing looks like on PS4 and Xbox One.

Reviving the video game franchise that was popular in the past with an increase in visual appearance at a glance is indeed very tempting. Especially with the advancement of game engine technology which is now able to adapt to ray tracing. In other words, the developer is able to simulate the appearance of light like the real world.

This is apparently also implemented by Crysis Remastered, where Crytek as the developer also implements this feature in the game.

Although it has not shown a real visual appearance for the PC version and is only limited to screenshots. But that didn’t stop Crytek from showing off his form Crysis Remastered on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One with raytracing.

Through its latest video upload, Crytek finally shows off how it looks Crysis Remastered for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One through a gameplay. In the video above, you can see the appearance of the light that has been able to be projected onto several surfaces like a ray tracing function in general.

Unfortunately, the implemented raytracing Crysis Remastered only limited to software and not hardware. Therefore, do not be surprised if the visual appearance does not have a significant change.

Crysis Remastered is scheduled to be released on September 18, 2020 later on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. The game has been released on Nintendo Switch first.
