Crysis Twitter Account Reactivated After More Than Three Years

Will Crytek and EA make a new series of Crysis?

Had become a phenomenon in the world of PC gaming because it became the lead technology for visual display problems, Crysis which was released in 2007 really made your PC cry thanks to its graphics. Despite the incompatibility with all the existing hardware at that time, it is undeniable that the graphics from 2007 created by Crytek through CryEngine are still pleasing to the eye until 2020. Not to mention the last series, Crysis 3 in 2013.

Since the third series, Electronic Arts seems to stop Crytek from continuing its project to the next series. Even so, Crytek still continues its support until at least 2016. This is evidenced by Last post on Twitter account on December 13, 2016. Interestingly, today they are suddenly active again.

Today, the official Twitter account Crysis suddenly made a tweet after four years of suspended animation. The short message “RECEIVING DATA” seemed to tempt fans to feel like being a soldier dressed in nanotechnology costumes to eradicate the aliens who invaded the earth.

It is not clear at all what the meaning of the tweet is. But with the rise of reboots and remakes, complete with the launch of a new console generation that is getting closer. It is certain that Crytek is saving a new project for the series Crysis. Either a remake, a reboot, or even a sequel. If yes, what is the meme “But can it run Crysis?” will be trending again like in 2007-2009 ago? Let’s just wait!
