Dev alumni. Dead Space Announces New Game About Building A Floating City With Middle Eastern Feel
Named Airborne Kingdom
Visceral Games may be gone. However, the former personnel in it will definitely never give up their desire to be able to work together again. At least that’s the principle that seems to be shown by Wandering Band in releasing their first new game entitled Airborne Kingdom. Wandering Band is an indie developer whose members are mostly former splinter from the studio that has been closed by EA for a long time.

As a man who in 2018 was quite successful in releasing his revolutionary Indie game entitled A Case of Distrust, Ben Wander felt quite happy that he was now able to return to reunite with his friends at Visceral, especially for the sake of releasing a passion for making games that they had all prepared together.
Airborne Kingdom is a game with a simulation genre that invites you to feel the excitement of building a kind of city. However, this game definitely doesn’t look like the city building games you’re used to seeing. Because the city you are going to build here is a city that has been floating far above the land.
As the title implies, the city that you manage is not only able to float in the air, because it can also move mobile to explore various areas of the world that have been provided. Artstyle along with the theme presented by Airborne Kingdom itself is also quite unique. Very much combines elements of steampunk with the imposition of Middle Eastern fantasy themes in the style of Aladdin’s story.
In the video description that Wandering Band announced, they informed that this game will collaborate many aspects of development and exploration in search of resources, food, and technology to further develop your flying city. There is also a kind of solid story or lore that will explain the origins of the world along with the city that you have to build.
This game doesn’t have a definite release date yet, but you can find more information about the Airborne Kingdom game on the Steam page.
